On October 21, 2004, the Disease Management Association of America (DMAA) presented Health Integrated, Inc. the award for "Best DM Program Intervention for Co-Morbid Depression" at its 6th annual DMAA Leadership Forum in Orlando, Florida. The Forum is recognized as one of the largest and most respected Disease Management Conferences in the country. The award was presented by Dr. Donald Fetterolf, Vice President and Senior Medical Director of Highmark, Inc., a Blue Cross Blue Shield health plan based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Fetterolf praised Health Integrated for its "leadership, innovation and proven impact in the field of depression disease management."

  • decreased barriers to medication compliance
  • use of outpatient services for both medical and depression-related visits
  • Emergency Room utilization
  • medical inpatient utilization
  • overall medical expenditures
