Health Integrated adds a key member to its C-suite team. A new chief financial officer brings well-rounded experience in all aspects of financial management, as well as health care management expertise.
Health Integrated today announced that Jason Grinstead has joined the organization as chief financial officer, bringing years of financial and health care management experience to the company’s ranks at an opportune time. Grinstead will lead Health Integrated’s financial operations and investor relations. He joins Health Integrated from Care at Home, Inc., where he was chief executive officer. Under his leadership, Care at Home grew from providing home care for medically fragile children in the San Francisco Bay area, to an entity partnering with the region’s hospitals, health plans and post-acute providers to offer coordinated care management and specialty home health programs to all age groups.
“Jason is a well-rounded executive with proven leadership, financial and corporate development experience,” said Shan Padda, Health Integrated chief executive officer. “His background in the care management and financial worlds are a good fit for the current growth trajectory of Health Integrated and our Precision Empowered Care Management approach.”
Grinstead brings about 20 years of leadership and financial management experience to Health Integrated. At Care at Home, he led financial strategy, capital allocation, revenue growth, cost management, balance sheet optimization and corporate development, in addition to other responsibilities. Prior to leading Care at Home, Grinstead worked as a financial executive at Lehman Brothers, JPMorgan Chase, UBS Investment Bank and Hamlin Capital, where he arranged financings and executed mergers and acquisitions transactions. He also worked on strategy at the wealth management startup, myCFO.
“I can’t imagine a more exciting time to join Health Integrated,” said Grinstead. “Health Integrated is leading the drive to enhance quality, achieve compliance and strengthen financial performance for health plans while empowering health plan members to achieve better outcomes. Shan and his team recognize the powerful impact Health Integrated is making on the health care landscape, and I am delighted to be part of this important mission.”
Grinstead holds a master of business administration degree, with distinction, from Harvard Business School. He also earned a master of arts degree from Oxford University in England. Grinstead served on the board of the California Association for Health Services at Home.
